About the Site
Who Runs LizzBet and How It Works
A small editorial operation that publishes football selections, records every result in public and funds itself through sportsbook partnerships it declares openly.
Why This Site Exists
Football tipping has a credibility problem, and it is entirely self-inflicted. The standard model is to publish confident selections, promote the winners, quietly bury the losers and monetise the gap between what a reader hopes is true and what can actually be checked. Anyone who has followed tipsters for a season recognises the pattern, and it is why most bettors stop trusting the category altogether.
We started LizzBet on a narrower premise. Publish fewer selections. Show the price we took. Record the result the same day, win or lose, in a place anyone can read without asking permission. None of that guarantees profit, and we do not pretend otherwise, but it does make the claims on this site testable rather than decorative.
The same principle governs how we treat sportsbooks. We hold funded accounts at the operators we recommend, place real bets through them and withdraw real money before writing a word. A review that has never been near a deposit screen is marketing copy wearing a lab coat, and there is already enough of that.
The People Behind the Selections
The site is run by two people with clearly divided responsibilities. One builds the models that produce a selection, the other tests the markets and sportsbooks where that selection has to be placed. Every page carries a byline so you always know which of them stands behind it.

Adrian Fell
Head of Football Analysis
Adrian builds and maintains the models behind our selections. His work centres on expected goals and shot quality rather than raw results, on the basis that a side creating good chances without converting them is usually underpriced. He owns the rule that governs everything else on this site: if the market price does not clear our fair number by a workable margin, the fixture is dropped and nothing is published.

Sofia Brandt
Markets and Sportsbook Editor
Sofia handles everything that happens after a selection is made. Where the best price sits on the day, how quickly a book settles a winning bet, whether a withdrawal arrives when it should and how an operator behaves once an account starts winning. She funds and tests every sportsbook account personally before it appears anywhere on the site.
Our Editorial Rules
These are fixed commitments rather than aspirations, and they are the standards we would want applied to us if we were the reader rather than the publisher.
Selections Go Up Before Kick-Off
Every tip is published with the odds available at the time of writing, hours ahead of the match. Anything posted after a game begins is commentary, not a prediction.
Results Are Never Edited
Once a selection is graded it stays as it is. Losing runs remain visible in the archive, because a record with the bad weeks removed carries no information at all.
Every Page Has a Named Author
You can see who wrote and reviewed each piece. Accountability is difficult to claim and easy to demonstrate, so we demonstrate it.
Commercial Links Are Declared
Where we earn a commission we say so on the page it appears, and our affiliate disclosure sets out the arrangement in plain terms.
We Test With Our Own Money
No sportsbook reaches our recommendations without a funded account, real bets placed through it and a completed withdrawal.
We Publish Nothing on Thin Days
Weak fixture lists and unclear team news are reasons to stay quiet. A tipster who finds five confident bets every single day is not being selective.
How the Site Is Funded
LizzBet earns money in two ways, and neither is hidden. When a reader opens a sportsbook account through one of our links, the operator pays us a commission. Readers who subscribe to premium contribute the rest. That is the entire commercial model, and you can read the detail on our affiliate disclosure page.
What that arrangement does not do is change the facts we report. A book either settles winning bets within a day or it does not. It either prices the leagues we cover competitively or it does not. Those observations come from accounts we fund ourselves, and the commission has no bearing on what we find when we test them.
We think the honest position is to tell you the incentive exists and let you weigh our recommendations accordingly, rather than to claim a purity that no commercially funded site can really demonstrate. If a recommendation here ever stops matching your own experience with an operator, we would genuinely like to hear about it.
Getting in Touch
Corrections, disagreements about a selection and reports about how a sportsbook has treated you are all welcome, and the last of those is more useful to us than any press release. Reader accounts of slow payouts and sudden limits have changed positions on this site before.
